It is probable that the average reader approaches the Acts of the Apostles as the history book of the early church.  He reads it in order to discover what happened in the first years of the church's existence.  Almost without realizing it, we have found ourselves moving from what Luke tells us to how he tells it, and have realized that this piece of history is told with conscious artistry.
